As we mark 30 years of bilateral relations between the United States and Slovakia, we honor our long-standing partnership and Slovakia’s emergence as a proud democracy and strong NATO Ally. Your steadfast support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s brutal war is a demonstration of your strong values and global leadership. As friends and Allies, we have worked together to promote democracy, rule of law, and essential human freedoms. We appreciate the shared commitment to collective security and furthering our common economic and people-to-people bonds.
As we look back on 30 years of bilateral ties, we reaffirm our pride in the strength of the friendship between Slovakia and the United States. I look forward to a continued close Alliance between our nations.
