Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with Salvadoran Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill Tinoco to address key priorities in the U.S.-El Salvador bilateral relationship and a range of regional issues.

Secretary Blinken and Foreign Minister Hill discussed security challenges in El Salvador and joint efforts to promote economic prosperity. The Secretary reaffirmed that the United States would continue to work with El Salvador to address important challenges, including managing migration, promoting good governance, protecting due process, and respecting human rights.
