Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma and Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met today in Doha.

Discussions focused on advancing initiatives to strengthen international security and cooperation in the region.

Deputy Secretary Verma discussed the bilateral partnership on Afghan relocations with Prime Minister Al Thani and expressed his compliments to Qatar on the successful hosting of last year’s FIFA Men’s World Cup.
