Special Representative for City and State Diplomacy Ambassador Nina Hachigian will attend the World Forum of Cities and Territories of Peace on June 27 in Bogotá, Colombia, to participate in a session on City Diplomacy and Transformative Diplomacy.

The World Forum of Cities and Territories of Peace is a space for dialogue between worldwide actors on building solutions to create peace within cities, territories, and communities based on social justice, environmental justice, and human security. The City Diplomacy and Transformative Diplomacy session will convene mayors and diplomatic representatives to discuss how local and regional governments can promote solutions to shared challenges, as well as share experiences of cities and territories to create progress and discuss the role of civil society and youth participation.
