New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) Expanding Health Partnerships is a five year project funded by USAID operating globally in a diverse range of technical work. NPI EXPAND operates by engaging and leveraging the expertise of new and underutilized local partners, such as community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and small businesses, while simultaneously strengthening the capacity of local organizations serving diverse groups. A core function of NPI EXPAND is implementing a range of customized, targeted capacity strengthening
activities with local partners. Technical activities are mainly in the areas of health and education with integration with environment, economic growth, social accountability, advocacy, and social marketing.
