Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Odile Renauld-Basso, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). They discussed how both organizations will continue to collaborate to advance global development, especially for Ukraine’s economic resilience and recovery. In particular, they discussed development challenges and partnership opportunities related to energy reform, agriculture, transportation and infrastructure, and risk insurance.
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the United States government, through USAID, has provided more than $20 billion in development, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
