During a meeting with Commissioner of Anti-Corruption Commission Seychelles (ACCS) May De Silva in Victoria, Seychelles, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma expressed appreciation for the commissioner’s leadership in bringing to justice those who have undermined the country’s institutions and stolen from its people. The Deputy Secretary noted these efforts made Seychelles a model for others in region in fighting corruption. Deputy Secretary Verma also pledged to continue U.S. law enforcement assistance with these efforts.
