The most recent release, "Renewal of the 2023-2024 Charter for the Advisory Committee for the Study of Eastern Europe and the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union," was submitted on April 25.
The U.S Department of State, Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs published 75 the month before, marking a 32 percent decrease for the current month.
The Agency implements and promotes US foreign policy in Eurasia and Europe including national security, democratic support, civil society, and the enlargement of NATO. EEA also supplies Europe with humanitarian and economic assistance.
One of the Bureau’s top objectives is to reduce Russia’s supply of natural gas to Europe. The bureau is trying to convince several European and Eurasian governments to diversify their natural gas supplies by building pipelines that would bypass Russia.
