Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will travel to Denver, Colorado, April 27-28 to attend the first Cities Summit of the Americas. In Denver, Secretary Blinken will meet with local government leaders from across the Western Hemisphere working to make their communities more prosperous, equitable, fair, and secure. He will promote implementation at a local level of the commitments leaders made at the Ninth Summit of the Americas. These events are designed to encourage local government and community leaders to address economic cooperation, investment mobilization, migration, climate, democratic governance, and digital transformation.
