Despite strengthened and expanded up-stream supply of seeds, challenges remain. Partnership for Inclusive Agricultural Transformation in Africa (PIATA) seeks to increase access to quality seed for selected value chains by Tanzania smallholder farmers through support to the government and private seed companies to improve quality and increase quantity of certified seed for priority value chains in Tanzania.
