Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Ambassador Christoph Heusgen, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC). Administrator Power and Ambassador Heusgen  discussed the critical role global development efforts play in strengthening transatlantic security, especially in the context of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, and its subsequent impacts on food, fuel, and fertilizer price spikes that are harming communities throughout the world. The Administrator and Ambassador Heusgen also discussed USAID’s new Policy Framework, which outlines how the Agency will enhance partnerships globally and advance critical internal reforms.
