The DOS Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs is offering a grant open from April 19 to June 19.

The grant could provide up to $7,000,000.

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project by providing logistical and administrative support to the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) program capacity building programs. ILEA training's overall goal is enhancing the capacity of partner-countries governmental institutions and reducing crime. Project Vision: Thru ILEA trainings, INL supports multiple projects aimed at building the capacity of our partner nations criminal justice sector. These trainings require coordinating travel for participants out of their country to an academy. The academies are in (1) Accra, Ghana; (2) Bangkok, Thailand; (3) Budapest, Hungary; (4) Gaborone, Botswana; (5) Roswell, New Mexico; (6) and San Salvador, El Salvador. The first year the grant will focus on travel to the academy in Roswell, NM. If successful, the cooperative agreement will be extended to include all six (6) ILEA academies. The selected award recipient will provide logistical and administrative travel support to ILEA participants worldwide. Project Goal(s) and Objectives: The goal of the award is to provide logistical travel services and administrative support to INLs, ILEA program. The award recipient will work closely with designated ILEA Program Manager(s) to determine implementation needs for the project and provide management services for execution of project. The recipient organization will process payments and coordinate all travel arrangements necessary for the ILEA Program participants, in a timely and efficient manner.
