Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Julieta Valls Noyes will travel to Arizona April 19-20.

In Arizona, Assistant Secretary Noyes will meet with local refugee resettlement partners, community leaders and refugees. She will also deliver the keynote address at Arizona State University’s (ASU) Genocide Awareness Week. This trip will provide greater insights into the needs and best practices of the refugee resettlement system in Arizona. She will also engage with students and faculty at ASU, including students who received humanitarian parole through Operations Allies Welcome.
