Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba today in Brussels on the margins of the NATO Foreign Ministerial Meeting. The Secretary reaffirmed U.S. support for NATO cooperation with Ukraine and long-term commitment to building Ukraine’s defense and deterrence capabilities. The two also discussed continued U.S. bilateral support for Ukraine’s battlefield needs, and the Secretary underscored the importance of Ukraine’s future as a strong, independent, and democratic country.
