The country’s constitutional documents provide for freedom of religious belief and affiliation and prohibit religious discrimination, including providing for an individual’s freedom of faith and conscience and the right to the public exercise of religion by churches and religious societies, the free exercise of religion for all citizens, and an individual’s right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion and provides this right to churches and religious communities.
